New Year New Look

2010 has arrived and I've been thinking... Time for change. A mental threshold to change the bad and appreciate the good.

Things I'm doing different this 2010 year...

1. To be organized! - My clothes, etc have been split among 3 different places. I am determined to clean them out and organize it into one central location.
Lesson I've realized: How do you know what you need if you don't know what you have.
My awakening: When cleaning I found 4 blue v-neck sweaters! Same style, similar color. Such a waste of money.

2. To Understand More and Judge Less - This is a very hard lesson until you've fully went through a situation. I realized that I can't change what people do, treat me, or say to me. But what I can do is to step back and not give any of my precious energy on negativity.
Lesson: You can't change what happens, only how you react to them.

3. Be Healthy! - Exercise, exercise! I love to walk, dance and run. Luckily these loves of my life are good for me. I purchased my gym membership and ready to get into gear. My main goal is not to lose weight, but to boost my energy.

4. Grow - Whether at school, by people, or God's life lessons, I intend to learn and grow every day. I will be a better person today than who I was yesterday.

5. Give - I use to be bitter about people in my life who took an extra helping. It's hard, but I know that it takes a stronger person to give than to take, listen than talk, and step back than react.

Putting these 5 things into play this upcoming year will be hard. But at the end of all this, I hope to be a better person for it and be truly happy and fulfilled.

Happy New Year everybody.
